Plant-based PLA deli take out containers are a great alternative to petroleum-based products. The full name for PLA is Poly Lactic Acid. The lactic acid comes from cornstarch and is completely biobased. The material is strong and transparent. As light and strong as plastic, but it is different from plastic, PLA is environmentally friendly material.
