Our recyclable paper straw is totally different from traditional paper straw. Traditional paper straw adopts paper/wet-strength paper with glue. Ours uses 1 piece of water barrier coated paper (100% recyclable and environmentally friendly), adopting ultrasonic heat-sealing technology without glue. Many people think that traditional paper drinking straws are recyclable because they are made from paper, but this actually a big misconception. Traditional paper drinking straws roll up three to five layers of wet paper and glue them together. And because paper drinking straws use glue and wet paper, paper drinking straws cannot be recycled by most pulp mills.
